Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. If you send us a message, we receive the details you include and use them to answer you.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregated logs help us diagnose faults and see which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Technical and contact data helps operate the site, correct errors, assess traffic, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
This site links to government portals, county and state records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and data you submit there is governed by their rules, not ours. This is especially true of the sponsored search results on this site, which are provided by a third-party company.
Who May Process the Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Security and Retention
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Visitors Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Your residence may give you rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data a website holds. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, also grants specific rights for consumer health data, but it is not a general right to delete all public name or address information. Because our own holdings are slight, we can usually review a contact mailbox and available server logs promptly. Make a request through the Contact page. Burien, King County, and Washington records remain outside our control, so correction or removal requests for those files must go to the custodian.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
